... a graduate student in Economics at Memorial University in St.John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. My academic journey began here in 2020, where I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and now continues with a Master of Arts.Along the way, I've cultivated a deep interest in how economic theory and data-driven analysis can support meaningful policy decisions, especially those that affect marginalized communities.

My passion lies in public economics and labour market research, particularly in understanding the experiences of immigrants in Atlantic Canada. As a Research Assistant, I’ve worked on projects that analyze labour market of immigrant populations and businesses.I enjoy diving into data, whether it’s cleaning datasets, running regressions in Stata, or synthesizing findings into polished reports.

I’ve also worked across campus in roles that connect research with outreach and education. As a Harris Centre Fellow, I’ve helped facilitate stakeholder workshops that bring together government, academia, and industry, on relevant topics ranging from implementing AI in SMEs to developing circular economies in NL.I also love teaching and mentoring: through my Teaching Assistant work, I’ve supported economics courses by developing learning tools, holding office hours, and helping students make sense of complex economic concepts.

I have won awards like the Medal of Academic Excellence and the Harris Centre Fellowship. What drives me most is the prospect of helping shape public policy in Newfoundland and Labrador.I want my work to contribute to a more inclusive economy, one where data isn’t just studied, but used to create better lives.
