... a dedicated and tested researcher and university lecturer with over ten years of experience. I am a specialist in environment, oil and energy transition, media studies, health communication, climate change, social movements, marine ecology, and development studies. I have more than twenty-five research articles published in reputable international outlets on these areas of interest. I spent more than seven years working as a university lecturer and researcher in Nigeria and I was involved in the execution of research grants won by some principal investigators. I successfully worked with two international non-governmental organizations in Nigeria to design studies, collect data, and write research reports used in executing their grants on misinformation and disinformation in the political ecosystem, and climate futuring and energy transition. In Canada, I have been working as a graduate teaching assistant and research assistant to some principal investigators. I have quality and proven experience in designing, writing, and executing research projects in my areas. Beyond this, I have professional experiences in research—policy engagement, using tested strategies and tools in ensuring that research findings influence policies and practices. I train students and workers from public and private enterprises on communication skills and report writing.

My first doctoral thesis obtained from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria was on climate change communication. I am writing my second doctoral thesis in the Department of Sociology at Memorial University of Newfoundland on environmental social movements and their foreign funders involved in activism and development projects on oil and justice in the Niger Delta. I bring my expertise in communication and society with strategic planning and relationship building to bear on all projects I am involved in. My goal is to ensure that society feels the impact of research, and I work to solve social problems with data and research. I believe in inspiring positive change and promoting societal development by working with public and private agencies committing resources to development projects.
