1. overview
Expertise Hub Cooperative (EHC) is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to support outreach, relationship-building, and community participation for our Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR) initiative. This role is critical in ensuring meaningful engagement with internationally trained professionals, service providers, and key stakeholders.
2. scope of work
The Community Engagement Lead will:
Develop and implement a community engagement plan aligned with project goals
Conduct outreach to internationally trained professionals and community organizations
Facilitate engagement activities (e.g., focus groups, community sessions, consultations)
Support recruitment of participants for programs and platform testing
Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including immigrant-serving organizations and partners
Gather community feedback and insights to inform project development
Prepare brief engagement summaries and reports
Collaborate with the project team on communications and event coordination

Community engagement plan
Monthly outreach and engagement activities
Participant recruitment support
Documentation of engagement sessions and key insights
Final summary report outlining engagement outcomes and recommendations

Start Date: April 1, 2026
End Date: August 31, 2026

Total Contract Value: $10,000 CAD
6. qualifications
Experience in community engagement, outreach, or stakeholder relations
Strong facilitation and communication skills
Experience working with immigrant or diverse communities is an asset
Familiarity with foreign credential recognition or labour market integration is an asset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
7. reporting & accountability
The Community Engagement Lead will report to the Project Lead/Director
Monthly check-ins and progress updates will be required
Timesheets and activity logs may be required for reporting and audit purposes
